Local, regional and national vendors are welcome to exhibit at The University of Akron Health and Fitness Expo on Friday, September 24, 2010.

This one-day health and fitness expo reaches not only the runners, but the greater Akron community.

Last year more than 17,000 people attended the expo. The expo is free and open to the public and will focus on health and fitness. In addition to serving as the distribution site for runners' packets, the expo will also be an informational site for event questions.

Expo vendors will be offered:

• Listing on the Road Runner Akron Marathon website
• Listing in the event guide
• Break area with refreshments

All runners must come to the Expo to pick up their race information and bib. Traffic flow through the Expo will be designed to ensure that all attendees will pass by your booth. All booths will be in high traffic and visible locations. Special arrangements have been made with our local television, radio and newspaper partners to promote the Expo to the general public a few weeks prior and during the Expo.

Exhibitors will be provided a 10' by 10' booth which includes: a sign identifying your company, pipe and drape dividers, an 8' draped table, trash can and two chairs. Additional charges will apply for electricity, phone lines, freight and additional furniture (see registration form). Non-profit organizations are offered a special reduced rate.

We encourage you to reply early to guarantee your spot, as booth space sold out in August of 2009. We are providing a loyalty discount for early registration of past vendors who register by July 9, 2010 and pre-pay booth fees. After July 9th, regular pricing will apply through August 13, 2010. After the August 13th deadline, additional requests will be charged an additional fee of $50 per booth, with no guarantee to be included in promotional print pieces and advertising. Payment for booth(s) rented must be made in full by August 13, 2010, to confirm your reservation.
