Registration & Payment
•Online registration has discounted rates
• Downloadable registration forms can be photocopied on white paper only. Altered forms cannot be accepted. One form per participant. Relay Teams MUST have 5 forms (for 5-person) or 2 forms (for 2-person) submitted together along with payment. Fill out form, enclose your check or payment information and send to:

• You MUST register by August 15, 2008 to have a personalized name printed on your race bib.
• NO registration on the day of the race. Final day to register is at the expo on Friday, September 26, 2008.
Refund & Registration Changes
• There are NO refunds or deferments of entry fees
• You may transfer from the marathon to a relay team - no refund will be made.
• You may transfer from a relay team to the marathon. You must first find a replacement for your relay team, then register and pay for the full marathon.
• We are able to make up to two changes to your Marathon Relay Team once it has been submitted. Please notify us by mail or e-mail of any transfers prior to September 15, 2008.
Not Permitted On Course
The Road Runner Akron Marathon does not permit: pets, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, other types of vehicles (other than official Marathon vehicles) or headphones. Safety for you and other participants are of paramount importance. Please do not bring or carry any of these items with you. The Road Runner Akron Marathon reserves the right to disqualify and remove anyone from the course who has any of the above items or does not act in a safe manner. All participants agree to abide by and accept the rules of this race and abide by any decision of any race official concerning the runner’s ability to safely complete the race.
